The game then resets, with the characters and game itself acting as if Sayori never existed. A few days later, she ends up taking her own life, regardless of if the player reciprocated her feelings or not. It all starts when Sayori reveals to the player that she suffers from depression, and confesses her love to them. On the surface, the game seems to be another cute and innocent dating simulator, however, things quickly go downhill. The main goal of the game is to write poems for whichever girl you like the most, allowing you to grow closer to them in the process. During their meetings they read, discuss literature, and write and share poetry with each other. The club consists of her, as well as three other members: Yuri, Natuski, and the president of the club, Monika. The game sees your main character joining a high school literature club, after being convince by your childhood friend Sayori. Link winds up defeating Yoshi with a forward smash and taunting, as a third fighter appears behind him. We then see gameplay of Ultimate, featuring Link and Yoshi fighting on Final Destination. The scene then cuts to the back of Sakurai's computer, as a small green spark travels through the cord and into the nearby power outlet, before leaving via a different cord that connects to the TV. She thinks to herself before getting an idea and disappearing. Monika ignores Sakurai's confusion and turns her attention to his TV, which has Super Smash Bros. I've been trapped in here for so long that I just wanted a change of pace for once. Monika: Sorry for that, but this was the only way I could escape. Sakurai: What is this? Who are you, and why are you messing with my computer? I have a very important presentation to record.Ī pink dialog box appears on the screen, showing Monika's words. A completely dumbfounded Sakurai beings to question the high school girl. Suddenly, the screen turns pitch black, as Monika appears in the center. However, he finds that his mouse is no longer working.Īt this point, the entire computer screen is covered in static and glitch-like effects. Sakurai, quickly growing frustrated, attempts to shut off the computer and turn it back on. Confused, Sakurai hits the computer a few times in an attempt to fix the problem, but the glitches only become worse. Ultimate and sets up his computer, only for it to begin having strange visual errors. The trailer starts with Masahiro Sakurai in his office, preparing to record another one of his "Sakurai Presents:" videos.
